NTCC was established in January 2004 as a joint stock company operating in the Telecommunications field in Egypt. The company obtained license from the National Telecom Regulatory Authority on December 2003 as a telephony service provider through prepaid calling cards. The company providing services and applications to enterprise and consumer customers segments. Applications include voice, data and video services. All services include the use of the NTCC NGN IP network.

NTCC draws its heritage from its shareholders with National Telecom Corporation (NTC) being the major shareholder together with Mansour & Maghraby, Egyptian Company for Wireless Systems (ECWS), and Arab Company for Management Services (ACMS).

NTCC is a conglomerate encompassing subsidiaries in Telecommunications Services, Information Technology Services, Financial Services and Manufacturing of telecommunications equipment and products. NTC is recognized, through its subsidiaries, as a leader and innovator in Egypt in the fields of Telecommunications, Data, Information Technology and the Internet.
